The act to commit oneself to someone “Commitment” The promise of forever, through sickness and health, for better or worse.
Commitment such a strong word. Too strong for some and too sweet for others. What do you look for in a soul mate? Those are the questions that are been asked every where. Do we want to commit? some says yes, others no and another percentage maybe. But a question remain for those who says no “when face with such decision what will you do?” We push our fears forward, we let it dominate our desires and we fall short of what we want. I want a relationship, but I am too scared to follow through. Many of us are in that position. We hear so much out there, that when we come face to face with following through we ask ‘what if?’ The what if dominates our mind like a plague ravaging a field. Self doubts are our strongest enemy. Sometimes we must let go of what is holding us back. But letting go is not easy. We have to try to put away our fears. However, most of our fears is what keep us safe When in a relationship there’s a 50% chance that it will work out and 50% chance that it will fail. What’s more important is to put our all into it. No one is perfect, we all have flaws, but those flaws are what defines us. It’s who we are. When we find someone who love us as we are, it’s worth taking the chance and not let our fears hinder us. We must work side by side with our partner and strive for a formidable relationship. It’s not easy but with lot’s of patients it can work. If however it does not, we move on. Commitment is letting yourself love someone unconditionally that they can’t live without you. It’s ok to be scared, but it never hurt to try. Leave your heart open to posibilities and you will see wonders.
